Tip- Sooji (Rava) must be roasted on low heat, to avoid burning.

- Rava (Sooji)
- Ghee (Purified butter)
- Sugar
- Milk
- Water
- Dry fruits
Method
- Heat the ghee in a flat pan, add rava and roast it well until it turns light pink.
- Add water and milk and dryfruits into the rava, stir well.
- Cover the pan for few minutes, make sure rava is cooked properly.
- Finally add sugar and stir well, again cover the pan for few minutes.
- You will get pleasant aroma, and that is the sigh of perfectly made Shira.
- Finally garnish with almonds and couple of Tulasi leaves, makes it perfect offering for pooja.
